Celebrating State School’s and challenging privilege – The 93% Club

The data on education inequality is both eye-opening and overwhelming. This is because privately schooled students, despite representing just 7% of the secondary school population, account for 74% of judges, 61% of Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and over 50% of Cabinet members. The 93% Club aims to redress this gap by giving university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds the opportunity to participate in workshops, seminars, social events and activities that are geared towards equipping them with the necessary skills to become serious competitors in the job market.
