Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) and the Church of England have published a report on the impact, since 6 April 2017, of families having a third or subsequent child no longer being entitled to additional support through child tax credit and universal credit. The report estimates that at least 230,000 families and 860,000 children have been affected by the end of the policy’s third year.
