International children’s charity Lumos has published a report examining the trafficking and exploitation of children living in care institutions and care leavers worldwide. Recommendations include: provide children in residential care and care leavers with appropriate guidance to prepare them for life beyond care and enable them to stay safe; and deliver training and practical guidance to care providers, including how to prevent, identify and respond to instances of trafficking.
