Ofsted have published statistics on inspections of local authority children’s services in England as at 31 March 2026. Key findings include: the overall quality of local authority children’s services in England has improved and 73% of local authorities were judged to be good or outstanding at their most recent inspection, compared with 53% as at 31 March 2022.
