Homeless Link has published a report on the experiences and perspectives of young people facing homelessness across England. Recommendations based on interviews with 45 young people aged 16-25 who have experienced homelessness include: government should develop a cross-government strategy to prevent and end youth homelessness; the Department for Education (DfE) should recognise children with housing precarity as a distinct group within its responsibility for children in need, and support local areas to ensure schools are funded to recognise and respond to young people at risk of homelessness.
