The Home Affairs Committee has published a report on human trafficking which explores the trafficking of children into the UK. The report looks at the prevalence of child trafficking and highlights concerns around: child criminal exploitation, labour exploitation and sexual exploitation; and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children being accommodated in Home Office hotels and going missing. The Committee calls on the UK Government to show greater urgency in securing more appropriate accommodation for children.
