Knife crime

The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies has published a briefing investigating trends in knife-related violence among young people and approaches to reducing it. The report covers four main areas: trends in knife-related violence in England and Wales; the drivers of knife-related violence including demographic changes, inequality, mental health and drug and gang issues; the effectiveness of criminal justice interventions; approaches to planning interventions.
