Looked after children

Pause has published a report on families experiencing repeat removals of children into care in England. The report highlights the issue of repeat removals and calls on the government to improve support to ensure families do not experience the removal of a child more than once. Recommendations include: improve data collection on the rates of recurrent care proceedings; provide coordinated and accessible support for families through Family Help; and provide evidence-based support for parents who no longer have children in their care.
