Meet the disabled suffragettes who fought for the vote

It’s hard to believe but today marks 100 years since women over 30 got the vote in the UK. It wouldn’t be for another 10 years, in 1928, when all women received the vote on the same terms as men. While we know about the famous suffragettes, like Emmeline Pankhurst and Millicent Fawcett, we don’t often hear about the women with disabilities who were also at the front of the fight for women’s rights.
