Mental health book for schools

A children’s book about mental health has been provided free to all 22,500 primary schools and 4,000 public libraries. Sadsville, by Martin Roberts, is a story that introduces children aged 6 to 10 to the concept of emotions and how they can be managed. It offers simple advice for self-help in times of sadness, and guides children to the professional support of Childline if they need it. Teaching resources are also available to support the use of the book in schools. It is available in several alternative formats, including a video-book read by celebrities.
