Violence against Women and Girls

The United Nations’ (UN’s) 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence began on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. To mark this, the Office for National Statistics has published new data analysis on the prevalence and lasting impact of violence against women and girls in England and Wales, as well as an overview of domestic abuse data in England and Wales for the period of March to November 2021.
