Outcomes for children who have left care

The Department for Education (DfE) has updated its outcome statistics for children looked after by local authorities in England for 2018 to include children who have left care through an adoption, special guardianship order (SGO) or child arrangements order (CAO). The statistics cover academic attainment and progress for key stages 2 and 4 and include comparisons with outcomes from the previous year and outcomes for looked after children.
