Ofsted has released a report evaluating the services offered by children’s homes in England and discussing various challenges. Data drawn from children’s homes’ statements of purpose finds that, while accommodation for a wide variety of needs is offered, there is uneven distribution of homes across England and around 30% of all children were placed in children’s homes outside of their region.
