The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) has published evaluation reports on place-based approaches (PBAs) to tackling local youth violence, including analysis of PBAs in England. The evaluations were commissioned by YEF and conducted by the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI), University of Cambridge Violence Research Centre (VRC) and Monash University. Findings include: involving local partners and communities is essential and PBAs must have a public health approach to violence reduction.
