Foster care

The Fostering Network has published a report on the status of foster carers in the UK based on the State of the nation’s foster care 2021 survey. The report sets out key recommendations to ensure that foster carers are treated as equals in the social care workforce with appropriate support, training and payment for their time and skills. It states that these changes are needed to improve the experience and outcomes of vulnerable children.
