The HM Inspectorate of Probation has published a report on the ‘12Cs’ collective safeguarding responsibility model, highlighting how it can assist probation and youth justice services in England and Wales to gain a better understanding of effective partnership and multi-agency working. The report sets out 12 key components which facilitate effective multi-agency safeguarding practice. The 12Cs model can be used to measure and evidence the effectiveness of multi-agency collaboration and assess the impact of collective safeguarding efforts.
