Multi-agency working

Ofsted has published a report looking at the multi-agency response to children and families needing support in England, with a focus on targeted early help. The report describes findings from five joint targeted area inspections and evaluates work across children’s social care, health services, schools and the police. Findings include: resource pressures make prioritising early help hard; there is a need for a child-centred approach within early help; and information-sharing needs to be improved.
