The Maternal Mental Health Alliance has published a report looking at specialist perinatal mental health community services across the UK. The report includes data from a Freedom of Information request sent to Mental Health trusts in England and finds some evidence of unclear or late budget allocation. The report highlights progress made in all four nations whilst calling for better access to mental healthcare for pregnant women and new mothers.
